What are the features of industrial ovens?

Continuous oven with stenter frame technology
This proven technology is ideal for drying web-shaped materials. The heat is transferred to the desired material areas by circulating air with a special nozzle concept. The heated circulating air absorbs the resulting moisture and dries the web material gently.
The web material can be kept under tension in the oven by means of vertical or horizontal chain circulations for sustainable and energy-efficient drying. This drying concept can be used to stretch, dry, heat-set, functionalise and coat a wide variety of fabric types.
Stacking oven
This type of industrial oven holds the product in several stacked chambers for drying. This type of industrial oven can be implemented in a space saving manner. Automated drying is possible with an optional loading system.
Chamber furnace
This type of industrial oven is the simplest type of oven. It is characterised by a compact, space-saving design. The textile industry in particular uses this type of drying system to improve the material properties of yarns. These include dimensional stability, crease resistance, colour fastness and water resistance.
Continuous oven with paternoster concept
Paternoster ovens are used for discrete and continuous heat treatment of products. They are used in batch or mass production.
They are characterised by their vertical design, tailored to the customer’s application and the space available in the production area. The product is transported by circulating pods. If required, a wide range of heating and cooling zones can be customised for specific customers and products. Depending on the product characteristics, the gondola transport can be realised with product carriers. Horizontal, vertical or direct airflow systems with nozzles provide effective heating at the desired product points.
Drying or heating with infrared
This drying or heating concept heats the material using infrared rays. This allows heating and drying from the inside out. Depending on the type of infrared emitter, a specific wavelength is generated and thus a defined thermal energy is introduced at different depths in the material. This enables rapid drying or heating and efficient further processing.
Heating rollers
Web materials can be heated by passing them over a heated roller. Depending on the desired surface temperature, the roll can be heated electrically, by steam or by thermal oil. In order to maximise the contact time of the material with the heating roller, a deflection roller in the form of an “omega wrap” is positioned before and after the heating roller.
